Happy April

I forgot to say it yesterday... Happy April everyone! Thankfully, I was not fooled in any way yesterday.

You may have noticed the look of the blog has changed. I've gone for something much more boring cleaner and simpler so perhaps it'll make my brain feel the same way :-) let me know what you think! Anyway, now that all of the unpleasant stuff of the last few weeks is starting to be put behind us, hopefully 2013 will start living up to my expectations of a lucky year. The number 13 has always been lucky for me and David so I'm hoping that isn't changing. My resolutions of being pregnant and driving by my birthday obviously have not happened but the house deposit is coming along nicely and I have read a few books (ironically, none of the ones on the list!) so I'm happy for now. I'm starting to think ahead towards that June 2014 baby we originally hoped for, it looks like that might be quite a realistic possibility now!

In the meantime, thanks to the three month enforced pregnancy ban that follows a dose of methotrexate I can now enjoy a summer of wine drinking, medium rare steaks and sunshine.... well a girl can hope for the third one ;-) I hope everyone had a good Easter weekend!
