And with the sun comes.... closure??

While I hate to lower the mood just as the UK weather is finally getting decent and cheering everyone up, I realised I should probably do some sort of an update on the ectopic pregnancy situation. As you may have guessed from the lack of mention, all is headed in the right direction. At my last blood test two weeks ago, the pregnancy hormones were at a mere 44 (but yes I know, still there!) so I was advised I could take a pregnancy test in two weeks (oops that was today and I've been for my first wee already). If it's negative, then that will be that so fingers crossed. It goes against every fibre of my being, to be taking a pregnancy test and wishing it to be negative but there we go.

It's been almost two months since the methotrexate injection so the beginning of June will see us 'officially' back on the baby bandwagon. However we've agreed that, while we wouldn't go out of our way to prevent them, March, April and May (especially May! Sooo many family birthdays on both sides!) are not really due dates we're that keen on. Yes I know, I'm trying to plan something that I have no control over. At this stage all I really want is a healthy, normal pregnancy but if I could choose (yep Santa, Easter bunny, Tooth fairy, I'm looking at all of you!), June 2014 would be my most perfect month ever. I would even put it out there that it would be lovely for it to be a girl but I don't even wanna jinx myself by saying it ;-)

So 2013. You've just seen fit to throw a new crop of health issues our way, this time for David and Oliver in the forms of unexplained headaches that have warranted hospital intervention and a common cold/cough (which has not :p). In light of everything else that has gone on this year, d'you not think that perhaps after this, we could have a bit of a break?

Thanks.
